Dr. Raina Fateh completed her degree in Medicine from Dhaka Medical College in Bangladesh. She later did her Diploma in Family Therapy from the Institute of Family Therapy in London and following which she completed her MSc in Systemic Psychotherapy from the Tavistock Clinic in London.

Dr. Fateh joined Central North West London (CNWL) Mental Health Trust in 1997. Since then, she has been appointed as the Head of Service for The Marlborough Cultural Therapy Centre and went on to become the Lead Systemic Psychotherapist for Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) based in London. Dr Fateh was also appointed by the trust, to develop and manage the Parental Mental Health Service to link CAMHS services with Adult mental health service. The service was part of an early intervention project to work closely with Parents with Mental illness and their children and family.

Dr. Fateh shares special interest in cross cultural psychotherapy with focus on her clinical work in developing practices and approach to engage and improve cultural sensitive clinical interventions for the mental health needs of children and adolescents from ethnic minority background.

Dr. Fateh continues to be involved and contributed in the service development and improving mental health care standards within Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service in the NHS Trust. She works closely with senior multi-disciplinary mental health clinicians to improve clinical skills on assessment, formulation and diagnosis process. Her focus is on adhering to the National Clinical Excellence Guidelines of clinical practice and quantitative evaluation of the outcome of the treatment.
