Virginia Golding

Consulting and Meditation

BA, Social and Behavioural Science (Psych, Phil) Post Grad. Family Therapy. MSW.

I have been working in the mental health field for over 20 years in a variety of roles, for large NGOs, as well as in community services, early childhood and school settings, in consultation roles as well as in management and direct practice as a clinician.

I value helping my clients learn how to live in a way that is consistent with their values and needs so that they can lead happier lives, and to understand the barriers that may be preventing them from do this.

My approach is also informed by contemplative traditions. I have a particular interest in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition as well as the Indian Advaita Vedanta tradition.

I regularly travel to India to to continue my studies in Buddhist psychology and meditation with a number of wonderful teachers.
